Hands down, the best game I have ever played. Incredible writing, beautiful character and story development, gorgeous world building. There are no heroes or villains in this game, just people. the interplay between revenge, regret, and forgiveness as themes in this game are amazing. Never have I seen emotional complexity so well portrayed in a video game, and it plays into the story perfectly. The gameplay is butter-smooth and fun as hell, and can be quite challenging, but very satisfying. I could never find enough ways to praise this game. A perfect follow up to The Last of Us, the sequel improves upon every aspect of the original. I wish I could go back in time to where I hadn't played it, so I could experience it again.
