This is one of the few movies/films that leaves me bawling every time I watch it. It’s a truly real and thought-provoking piece that shows there are many sides to every story. Taking place in what is called the “most magical place on earth” the viewer is taken on a rollercoaster of heartbreak, struggle, and a little bit of humor. “The Florida Project” does not hesitate to show the demeaning and ugly side of poverty and the struggle of a single mother doing whatever she can to make her child happy and fed, despite seeming like the world is working against them, and it’s all from the perspective of children. Not to mention the acting is incredible and the cinematography as well. Yet another masterpiece that proves budgeting doesn’t equate to quality.
