Many of the situations in this series just wouldn’t happen in countries with universal healthcare, it’s truely a rich vein of drama, sad that it’s true. The series is a good watch and would be great if not for the internal inconsistencies. Characters are well cast and acted, and one is reminded of the joke that the difference between God and doctors is that God doesn’t think he’s a doctor! Enjoy!

Loved this film, slow paced and moving back and forth in time it required concentration. It is beautifully filmed and very evocative of its time, hard to really imagine life after the 1st war, when so many were left grieving for the lost generation. Loved the young woman’s perspective and how the heroine was so strong and a survivor.
