The film is so captivating and spell bound and I am sure it will get an Oscar. What's so great about this movie is that the entire story is about the human values, honesty and the fight against the system. I have never seen a movie so impactful on your moral conscience and they way it brings to the fore about the deep ingrained psychological footprint on the caste system. Those who are offended with the portrayal of the characters maybe have to revisit their inner self and question themselves on the true values of our country and what we are practising. The story telling , direction and the acting of each character is far beyond expectations without the dramatics . It is not about upper and lower castes but about What is justice and what is humane. The intricate weaving of different vacations,classes is very well brought by the director and the script writer. Excellent editing, cinematography, music comes with brilliant casting. The high light of the series is the acting of all the characters starting from the vivacious Radhika Apte to host of exciting retinue of brilliant actors. Must watch for all those who love emotive cinema, classic book lovers and not for those who watch the tv operas.
