Season one was good. Not so season two. Its hard to feel involved with these two main characters. They compete with each other just to see which one can “break” the other. Their actions were so horrible I had to turn it off more than once. Finally, I just quit.

I laughed out loud several times. This series is original and well written and acted. It was a little hard to follow the dialect and i had to just let it go at times. I give it an “A.”

This is an attempt to do a Jane Austin without the talent or understanding of Jane Austin. It’s a period soap opera. The characters are overdrawn and insincere. Costumes and sets are pretty, though.

I’m not finished, but so far it's been really good. I like stories that require suspension of disbelief, but this isn’t everyone’s idea of a good story. I can’t wait to finish and I look forward to another season.
