Sarah Hooper

I was so excited to watch this film after reading the book, especially as I’d been imagining Jud as John Lithgow whilst reading it, but I have to say I was disappointed. It had some very creepy moments, but I feel like as a whole it was rushed, we didn’t get a chance to gain a deeper understanding of the characters, and the main story behind the burial ground was barely brushed upon. I would’ve happily sat through an extra half hour for more of a build up and more explanation.
