I dislike the Hunger Games because of its poor design of characters, in the books, Katniss is cool and a likeable character overall. Whereas, in the movie, she is arrogant and over confident. When she looses confidence, she is just annoying, in my opinion. I dislike the character’s lack of personality. The only character with a proper personality is a drunk guy, named Hamich, who only has a personality because it would affect the story if he didn’t have that specific character. Another thing I dislike about the movie, (potential spoilers) is that, it is so predictable. She says Prim isn’t going to get picked, she gets picked. She says Rue is ‘t going to die, she dies. She says she isn’t going to with the Hunger Games, she does. I dislike the idea of it being predictable, it makes the movie lack excitement and the feeling of, “I never saw that coming!” But now, the only time I say that is with sarcasm. I’m sure, in the books, it was different, but I have no way of telling for sure unless I read them. But, after I watched this movie, I don’t think I will. It’s such an amazing concept and the filming is great, but the story is too predictable. Overall, I find the Hunger Games movie is bad because of its lack of personality and plot twists.
