It is not totally boring, I’ll give it that. But it seems whoever wrote the script didn’t do real life research. It seems like the writers were trying to imitate stories that they have seen in movies instead of doing real life research.

Probably the books are better, but it feels like the episodes are written by a high school student. The stories lack complexity, originality, and sophistication.
