The people I know with great taste and half a brain love this show and the people I know with no taste and no spine won't give this show a chance. We live in the dumbest of times filled with the loudest, most predictable people who have nothing to offer the world and it pains me to see them filling the air with their pathetic, predetermined thoughts. I have yet to see a negative review that demonstrates even a basic human understanding of this show. How brainless do you have to be to not understand it? And how bitter and arrogant do you have to be to so desperately, so vocally form an opinion on something that you do not understand? This show is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. It's iconic, addictive, and inventive and gives more than I could have ever wanted. The acting is excellent, the story is superb, the set design, costumes, hair, makeup, faces, songs are burned into your brain because they're so good. And as a bonus, the show gives to the world the best pop music since the early aughts. The world today does not deserve this show or the music or even Lily Rose Depp's beauty and talent. We have degraded so much as a society that we cannot recognize a diamond because we're starving and fighting amongst ourselves over stale bread. Everybody today has "educated" themselves over common sense...Over beauty, over human nature...Today's people are not humans. They are robots. Mosquitos in our ears. They have taken over. And somehow, in spite of it all, great art is still being made- and The Idol is proof of that.
