I bought the early release and I was super excited to play. I really enjoyed the gameplay for the first act but I quickly realized that this game was not for me. I enjoy the complexity of PoE; the endless possibilities for crafting gear and creating builds was the main reason I played. However PoE 2 lacks the complexity that I was looking for because it doesn’t have any form of meta crafting or advanced crafting methods, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of build diversity that will actually allow you to breeze through the campaign or maps and then there is the most crucial difference which i ls the pace of the game. The pace of the game is extremely slow compared to PoE. The campaign in PoE takes 4-7 hours but in PoE 2 it takes 60-100 hours on the first play through and slightly less perhaps with more gear on an alt. The crafting system doesn’t exist at all and the gold system seems unfair because you never have enough. Then there is the actual difficulty of the game which is pretty significant compared to PoE. I enjoyed the difficulty at first but it became tedious and annoying to constantly have to dodge instead of having an instant dash to be able to reposition and continue dealing damage. The pace of the game is drastically slowed down by the need to constantly dodge abilities with the roll mechanic. I think the main point of PoE2 is to get to end game and get good enough gear to not have to roll more lol. It doesn’t feel good. I really like GGG but I can already tell the game is going to get review bombed because of the tedious difficulty and the tracking of mobs. I’ve died to multiple off screen hits as well as abilities that I clearly dodged on my client but not on the server. Most people who played PoE will not enjoy this version.

Convoluted power progression systems. Cluttered UI and menu interface. Overbearing dialogue frequencies during the monotonous leveling process. Deplorable gambling-marketing strategies implemented to gate you from end game progression while simultaneously chipping away at your wallet in hopes that you value your time and the ability to continue playing with your friends. I see why this game was banned in a few countries. The people who say it isn’t pay to win are either in denial because they have already committed a dollar amount to the in game shop or they haven’t truly played the game yet.

This was one of the best horror movies I had seen in a very long time on release and is still a stand out movie from every other horror movie I've seen. These reviews just show how lost the younger generation is.

Entire competitive scene and matchmaking is inundated with closet cheaters that never get banned. If they manage to ever get banned then they buy a new account for less than a dollar and continue cheating. Cheats cost anywhere from 30-100 dollars a month depending on the level of the cheat and you can buy a hardware mod called an Arduino off amazon for 35 dollars which allows you to cheat undetected and spoof your HWID so that your PC never gets banned. Not only does this company not care about the cheaters but they can't even do anything to combat it. Riot is a garbage company that turned an American dream into a communist run CCP ideologue. Don't waste your time or money.

Hot steaming pile of garbage compared to Path of Exile. PoE has better leveling, better end game progression, better bosses, better crafting and much much much much more. Diablo 4 makes my GPU sound like its going to explode 24/7 and makes my entire room 10 degrees warmer. Diablo 4 forces you to do boring quests and dungeons to get renown. The sad part is that even after all of the boring progression there is nothing else to do in the end game. The end game itself is basically just more of the same nightmare dungeons that are annoying compared to maps in PoE. The stash tabs are a nightmare and the crafting is boring and doesn't feel like I'm accomplishing anything. The crafting is so bad that you can't even craft multiple affixes but can only change one by spending tons of gold and pressing a button that rerolls it.... PoE currency system and crafting system is by far the best out of any game I've ever played. Do yourself a favor and go play PoE and throw this Diablo 4 trash in the garbage.
