Gritty, and a fantastic story. The best thing to come from the Star Wars world in a long, long time. Acting is very good, but it is a captivating story above all. It actually makes the whole empire vs. rebellion thing seem REAL. It goes back to what made Star Wars great - heroes and villains that you root for and relate to in different ways at different points. I almost didn’t give it a shot after the extremely hokey films and series. Not a comic book treatment. This plays like a real drama and it is wonderful. Excited for the conclusion of season 1 and looking forward to season 2.
