A treat for all Vijay fans who have been yearning to watch the performer in him come alive on screen. This movie was the perfect vehicle to showcase his range as an actor where he goes from being a harmless commoner with palpable vulnerabilities to a ruthless and almost psychotic villain with ease. It's a well made films with a poorly executed flashback episode which however attracted way too much critisism than it deserved.
