Why even bother making this show if it’s just going to be 8 episodes of rushed BORING and uninteresting storytelling. The only enjoyment I get out of it is distractedly imaging how things might’ve been so much better if they’d done (A) instead of (Z) PS anyone complaining that’s it’s too woke/Mary sue whatever is just pushing their agenda of hate. If anything it’s horrendously offensive that this project has been given such little thought and consideration, that once again these leading female characters are deprived of an actually decent story to lead. Anyone complaining that bad reviews are only from incels should maybe be more upset at how “diversity” is just used to advertise and build hype around projects that despite their diversity are drained of color and an actual voice

I don’t know what nostalgia is influencing these 5 star reviews but this movie is not that good at all. So many random little things just don’t amount to anything, it’s frustrating and boring for a majority of the time, and despite the interesting and unique concept for the time I’m not convinced it really accomplished anything particularly groundbreaking. Just skip it

Special effects with no substance. Slow motion on slow motion. Bland characters, predictable story, overall barely even a fun mindless film to enjoy on a whim.
