So I had played this game for at least about a 4 month period now, and My experience on the game is I don’t really enjoy MyCareer too much anymore like I used to. The reason why is because they keep breaking shooting and fixing unnecessary stuff in the game, And I feel there is a huge gap where the casual players that don’t spend money and play the game. You really kinda can’t do anything unless you put money into the game, The squad rec is one of the worst ideas they ever added into the game because you vs a whole squad that spend $200 bucks on a build and run zone 24/7, it’s not fun for casual players at all. I made a review 2 months ago about the game and I said that Kobe challenge was good, and the play now and season mode is pretty fun. I actually have met other players in the twitch community that play it and to be honest it isn’t really that bad, My main thing now is MyTeam and I play more offline with that and I been enjoying the game casually in my own time and put money in the game to get cards and been having lots of fun. The only thing I don’t like about me playing this is, I’m a rec player and my friends don’t be playing like that, there’s no way I’m going with a squad of 2-3 in the rec to get sold by randoms. Thats just not fair, they need to bring back the old rec in my career. Maybe a ranked system will work if they had that, but I don’t know what will fix it. MyTeam for me is fun it’s new for me and I jumped into it on 2023 and I like it, even know the game is expensive I attend to get what I want and play offline domination and clutch time for fun. I only give the game 2 starts tho because the Rec squads and random rec is awful, The shooting in my career can be inconsistent and they be breaking and fixing things and nerfing stuff. And the floor setters and badge progression is the worst thing they added. Absolutely Horrible. The way you have to grind for that in MyCareer and every game is different so if I don’t dunk I can lose progression on Posterizer or if I don’t shoot because a defender play good defence on me I lose progression on my shooting badges. Thats very bad. You should get what you want because you put money into the game! And you get teammates that don’t pass like that, so it’s a whole frustrating situation. If you going to get the game, and you really want it. Play now, season mode era mode is cool, MyTeam is okay, “I really enjoy it offline a lot more” And I would stay away from MyCareer this year. To me it isn’t up to standards.
