Cynical

This game embodies everything a Resident Evil fan like me wants. A great use of survival horror, jumpscares, conservation of items, creepy characters and awesome boss fights. I'm really happy Capcom experimented with the series in a different way because this is one of the best Resident Evil games in the franchise. A lot of people complain about the first person mode, and sure, it's not ideal, but for me, it makes the whole game a lot scarier. Sure, if this game was an RPG, it would probably be annoying, but its full use of first person really makes this one of the more unique games in the series. What I like so much about this game though is that's its a mix of RE4 and RE7. It has the creepy but action packed atmosphere of RE4 (without the escort quests, thank god), and the strange characters and awesome boss fights from RE7. Overall, this game is amazing. It fixes all the issues from the previous games, with more interesting levels, game design and variety. I highly reccommend fans and first-timers to play it, especially when you go in blind. Not knowing anything makes the experience 1000 times better. In my book, Capcom has created yet another masterpiece.

In terms of story mode, GTA V is definitely worth your money. It's extremely entertaining and well written. However, I am giving this game three stars because of many problems with the online. It's not like the concept itself is bad. It's just the community and the technical problems. 1. Constant and long loading screens (or you just freeze in the game forever until you force quit). 2. People are always trying to kill and destroy you for no reason. Even if you go into Passive Mode, which prevents people from attacking you, you are locked away from several missions. This means people constantly taking your money and destroying your personal vehicle. I prefer Red Dead Online, where you can truce with other players and your horse can be brought back very quickly. 3. SO many toxic players and numerous cheaters. It's hard to keep track. 4. Cars and clothes are way too expensive! Like cut down the cost Rockstar, jeez! 5. Tons of people are trying to purposely fail heists, which is extremely frustrating. Not to mention people can place bounties on you. 6. Little variety. I know it sounds insane, but the online is mostly a "Get money, buy stuff, do PVP or Co-Op missions, rinse and repeat." Sure, there's special heists, but those are quick and infrequent. Unlike other games I've played, GTA Online isn't bad because it has bad A.I or terrible gameplay. It just has an extremely toxic community, filled with cheaters and people who want to kill you for fun. All I really want is the game to have some more variety and for Passive Mode to be enabled while completing VIP missions and such. The amount of times I've died due to random player is insane!

It feels almost criminal to give this game anything lower than a 5 star, but after playing this game 3 times, and beating it 100 percent, I feel there's multiple problems that some people don't take into consideration. Don't get me wrong though. Breath of The Wild is still an unforgettable game, especially when you play it without knowing anything. Story: The story is the weakest. There are little to no dialogue choices in this game (not a flaw, just a huge wasted potential). Characters are bland and have nothing to offer. Compared to Ocarina of Time, where characters are quirky and interesting, this game just has some boring adventurers. World: The world doesn't feel creative. It just feels empty. There's only a couple of towns that make this game stand out. The other half of the time, it's an empty landscape with no characters or random encounters. Replyability: I know some people might say I'm wrong, but I feel this game doesn't have replay value. Once you go through the opening (which is definitely the best part) for the first time, you know what to expect. This game doesn't have many choices, a reputation system or thievery systems. It just has empty places with enemies, and some cool places like towers. Sadly, these get old fast. Side Quests: They feel so pointless. Whereas other games bombard you with interesting quests, or even fetch quests, this game has some pretty boring side quests with a generic story. Monsters: Not many monsters. You'll find only three half the time. Bokoblins, Lizafolos and Moblins. And it's not like Nintendo hasn't done this. All the Mario games have an insane amount of enemy variety, so it sucks to see another one of their franchises have none of that. Ending: It's not worth it. It's a boring cutscene, and even when I beat this game the first time, the cutscene left me sick and tired. Environment: You'll see a lot of the same backgrounds quite frequently. Shrines look the same, towers look the same and most areas on Hyrule look very simple. This is not a major problem though. Just another thing I want them to fix in the sequel. BOTW is still an amazing game. I am not hating on it. I just wanted to clarify some problems I had with the game, since virtually everyone has given this game 5 stars. There's still an insane amount to do though. The puzzles are fun, and the locations are memorable. It was a game that reinvented the franchise, and I'm glad Nintendo took that step. This is an awesome experience that is definitely worth your money. It's just not a very replayable game in my opinion. FINAL VERDICT: 8/10

To be honest, I actually really enjoyed this film. The visuals are fantastic and the buildup is pretty good for this long-awaited rivalry. But this film is still a giant mess. 1. Terrible characters. Zero emotion and creativity put into any of them. 2. Extremely bland and predictable. This movie had your young kid, your terrible comedic moments, your terrible fighters who for some reason have still not learned that rockets don't do a dent to Godzilla and Kong. It feels more like a straight rip-off of the other movies, instead of something creative and original. 3. The twists in this movie are a mess. The big one is just that Godzilla and Kong won't fight each other and will help defeat this Mecha that comes later in the film. This is not a compelling twist and feels like a way for Hollywood to milk more money off of these classic monster behemoths. 4. Some cool concepts here and there, but it's just so messy. They are terribly rushed as the movie constantly switches from Millie Bobby Brown's story (which is probably one of the worst I've seen in a movie) to the boring, exposition dump for the rest of the crew. Overall, this movie isn't a terrible film, but it has SO much wasted potential. It has some of the most boring characters and laziest scriptwriting ever put to film, and it's just a big jumble that has no soul put into it. You might think I'm exaggerating, but go watch Jurassic Park and you'll see what I mean. Personally, I wish these "humans" didn't even exist. I would be completely fine if this was just a straight-up fight between Godzilla and Kong for 2 hours, rather than a slow drag that constantly tries to take itself seriously. If you like the movie, I understand. It's fun at times. But for the rest of us, it's a huge disparity for something that could have been far better.

It's hard to believe Kojima made this, and it's made me realize that even he has to have someone tell him that this is not good at all. Death Stranding is one of the most boring games I've ever played. The gameplay is nothing but walking. You get a package, travel here, deliver it, rinse and repeat. There is no reward for any of your effort. It's just an exposition dump upon exposition dump. The walking and slower pace isn't bad. It's how it connects to the game. I love games like New Vegas that want you to take your time, but this game is completely against the player in every aspect. It's so slow and tedious, and you're not even rewarded at all! The story itself is a mess of lore and more lore. There is no context to what is happening half the time. The characters are unemotional and add nothing engaging to the plot. Whereas other stories like GTA V have memorable and funny characters, Death Stranding has unemotional moments, with nothing but characters speaking "What should we do now" or "This is what is going on." The combat? Nothing interesting. It's not like this game is filled with much combat anyway! It's a generic third person shooter with a cover mechanic. But the worst part about Death Stranding for me is how tedious and against the player it is. You always have to hold the trigger buttons to balance yourself. Sometimes you have to put ladders in your huge inventory on steep surfaces. This isn't immersive or beautiful game design. It's just tedious, unsatisfying work. Death Stranding is one of the biggest disappointments in gaming history. Many say people just don't have the patience to sit through everything, but why should they? Once you've experienced the first two hours, you already know everything that's going to happen. It's consistently repetitive, extremely dull and mind-numbingly boring. Metal Gear Solid gave you the choices to make, and you could tackle them however you like. Death Stranding gives you only one way to do anything, with nothing coming out of that. Unless Kojima can fix this mess and add more to it, I can't recommend this game to anyone.

Disney's abominations are yet again here with Frozen 2. Surprisingly, I actually liked the original Frozen. It wasn't a masterpiece, but it was entertaining. This film though, is the complete opposite. 1. The villain is not even a villain. He's a ghost who never actually fights Elsa and Anna back. 2. Dialogue and characters are rather embarrassing and cringy. Elsa at least had a motivation to never return back to the kingdom. She had doubt in her powers. Here, it's just a boring story with no connecting themes. 3. The songs are uhh....okay I guess? There's some good ones, but they are always put in the wrong places at the wrong time. Not to mention they happen all the time. If anyone dies, speaks or scratches their nose, a song plays. 4. The story is rushed and messy. It's basically a whole new movie altogether that shows no respect to the original. 5. Animation is good, I'll give it that, but people are saying it's phenomenal? Really? I've seen Disney do WAY better before. Frozen 2 is a big mess. Unlike Frozen 1, there are no stakes, no emotion, no consequences. Everything resolves itself by magic! It has no charm and zero personality. The original had some interesting themes and characters to portray. Here, there's nothing. It's just a lazy cash grab. Old, young, girl or a boy, I can't recommend this movie to anyone.
