This was a fascinating show for me because I have been attending the faire for 40 years. We go every year and watch our favorite shows (the mud show and Adam crack). Used to enjoy carol shanning belly dancers, ded bob, puke and snot and many more but sadly they are all gone. We eat our muffaleta, turkey leg and funnel cake. We get a doll from the wee people booth every year and some jewelry too and have never known a single thing about king George. Didn’t even know he existed or anything about his property nearby the grounds. It was kind of personal to me as such a longtime patron and our mouths hit the floor when we spotted ourselves about 15 minutes in on the first episode. What are the chances we were there walking around on the day they filmed and were in the background. If you don’t know the faire then I wouldn’t think you would care about this documentary but I sure did. It was fascinating to say the least. We saw so many familiar faces in it from our visits every year and certainly recognized Louie. It will be different when we go this year. I will be thinking about the show and looking around for old king George. Huzzah
