It just didn’t have the magic I felt from the original movie and the parts that were changed made it seem strange ! Missed some of the original parts including the wedding on a boat etc . I felt they made the witch too beautiful to be the alternative to Ariel she should have looked more evil and plain also the main character could have shown more Wonder ! My daughter was bored after 20 min this is the 4 yr old that is obsessed with mermaids and even watched Splash in its entirety ! I was a little disappointed . The CGI was good and the special effects but I missed the scene at breakfast too
