I've never written a review about a movie but this movie deeply affected me so here ya go: 1st...Damn Ms. Viola..you did your thang girl!! I had a great time and the movie was awesome! They fought so hard not to be swept up in the slave trade market "benefits" and fought not to become slaves themselves. It's situations and movies like these that make me wish I knew my true heritage. I'm so heartbroken this happened to us, and, at the same time, proud that we had warriors who fought back. Thank you to all the sweat, blood and tears that went into making this movie. The whole cast was great. I truly thank you!
