This is my favorite sequel in the series. I have watched it four times already. The only characters I believe the audience is meant to side with are: Ritcher, Momma, & Lila. Richter is your hero. This is not a hero's movie. Momma is the tragic centerpiece. Lila is the hope for the future, the emotional strength, & the ability to choose your destiny. Sally is nothing like Laurie. Sally is an unequivocal failure that dedicated her entire life to the thing that broke her. Leatherface got the chance to feel peace & be like a real human after the original. Sally never gave herself that opportunity. She became exactly like what she was running from and had convinced herself she was fighting. I will leave it there & not include spoilers. I will leave you with.. Cinematography: 10/10. Soundtrack: 10/10.
