Mononoke Himé is very dear to me as I grew up with it quite literally being born in 1997 myself and this movie is one of if not the earliest memory I have next to potty training so around 2 and its morals have influenced me and shape the person I am today the earth is our home and we only have one so we must take care of it, I'm also a pacifist but I believe its also important to know how to defend yourself, but the most important thing I learned from this film is that hate is a powerful and horrible thing and evenually all that hate will turn you into a monster. I love all the Ghibli films but Princess Mononoke is by far my favorite.
