It should have been good. A brother for Gru? Cool. But this movie is.... just so annoying. The new brother (Dru) is really high pitched, whiny and kind of immature, and when he’s with Gru, they are immature and annoying together. At one minute it’s looking like it has promise: Gru lost his job and is struggling to cope, and Lucy is trying to be a mother, but then... in comes Dru and it falls FLAT. Disappointing, as the others were so good. While that mess is ensuing, the animation has visibly improved and the voice acting is good. I give it 2 stars out of 5.
