Interesting read, but as stated on the back cover it's a Story not a factual read. In the Bible it says Judas committed suicide by hanging. This book says he was stoned by the Apostils.
Mary Mother of Jesus spent her last days in Ephesus with John one of the disciples until her Ascension, not in the south of France, like it says in this book.
The three Mary's who arrived on the shores of the South of France were Mary of Magdalena, Marie Salome, (who was the Mother of James and John the Apostilles). And Marie de Cleophas, who was the Sister-in-law to Mary Mother of Jesus. (Joseph's sister)
Mary, Martha and Lazarus were wealthy people, all may of been born in Magdalene. But in adult life, Lazarus took care of the houses he owned in Jerusalem, Martha took care of the houses she owned in Magdalen and Mary took care of the houses she owned in Bethany. (She is some times referred to as Mary of Bethany) Although she was known as Mary of Magdalene in history, where she was born!
When the Christians were approaching the shores of France, the French say a high status Egyptian girl swam out to the boat that carried the 3 Mary's, to guide them safely ashore. The French also claim that this Sarah did not sail the perilous sea from the Holy Land, only landed with them. This Sarah is referred to, as the Black Sarah! Because her skin tone was darker than the 3 Mary's. She later became known as Saint Sarah, Patron Saint of the Gypsies. (Evidently the name Gypsy derives from the word Egyptian!!!) And Gypsies come from all over the world to pay homage to her even today, for saving the Christians aboard that boat that belonged to Joseph of Arimathea. (With out as much as an ore, a sail, a rudder, food or drink)
