I took my parents, my wife and my two boys (aged 7 & 8). All of us loved it. The only negative comment was my dad said there was a part in the middle where his attention started to drift.
My wife and I agreed that it was one of the best movie we had seen. (My wife enjoys dramas like handmaidens tale, I like fantasy /sci-fi like LOTR and Endgame). My boys always have a hard time sitting through shows but we had no problems here.
Overall, it is very well written. The artistry is amazing, the songs were a few steps above the typical kids movie songs, the dancing during the songs was interesting. I enjoyed that the storyline was full of good life lessons.
As a Caucasian male, I also love that it was original and showcased another culture without having to rewrite an existing story. Whether accurate to Columbian culture or not, I can't say, but I felt like I got to experience something new and beautiful.
