I’m not sure how rotten tomatoes has a 96% score. The story is stupid, the characters have no depth to them, the attempts at humor missed, and it was boring (even the action was boring with so much CGI). This one was seriously flawed. I think the over use of CGI is ruining movies. Bad CGI took me out of suspending disbelief, and once it took me out the movie became a boring mess. Only redeemable thing about this movie were 3 characters: bloodsport, rat catcher 2, and of course Harley Quinn. This rest was bleh 🤮. Even the ending fight scene with the starfish was completely disjointed. Were we supposed to empathize with it? The starfish reminded me of the stay puft marshmallow man in Ghostbusters. But even more stupid, and no fun blowup scene in the end. I think people are starving to go back the the theaters so they’ll take anything with a pulse. In the end: yawn.
