Wow, what a beautiful movie by our brother Tyler Perry. This movie has a powerful message, allot of jaw dropping scenes and true to life moments compared to his other works. The connotation in this movie rivals that of Dear John, The vow or even the notebook. Very heartfelt scenes that draw you into there love but enough barriers and obstacles to help you understand why it couldn't be. This movie keeps you hopeful til the very end, when Bayou has his Judas moment, et tu Brutus... long after our beloved character has passed his love is still holding on to his memory. They did an excellent job illustrating this scene from the song playing in the background, while she is holding her paper plane, and their son coming to visit with the letters. This is the power of love! Great job!!!
P.S. I will say that Bucket did enough questionable things that she would of been caught as a colored woman passing for white.
