A great film with a great story, great cast and performances (most notably Bryan Cranston), good characters, a consistent tone, fantastic music and marvellous monsters.
Yes, Godzilla should have had more screen time and the characters are not the strongest ever, but they are special, they feel like real people thrown into a realistic scenario of chaos and I appreciated that greatly. I also really loved the realistic aspect of the film, it keeps it grounded and feels real to the audience which makes them feel for this film. And Godzilla was amazing in this film, screen time aside, he was big, dominant, had a clear understanding and was an all round badass simultaneously.
Why they didn't bring back the main theme in King Of The Monsters
I'll never know.
It's been 5 years, dang time flies, makes me sad
