Great movie! Just as enjoyable as the first one 😆 I love the dynamic between Venom and Eddie in this movie. They face another hardship but end up coming back to each other and have such a great love/hate comedic relief relationship. Just like the first movie, the comedy is perfect. There isn’t enough of it to be classed as a comedy but what is included is timed perfectly with scenes and character building. The first movie was so good and unfortunately critics rated it very harshly and for quite some time it was unknown if a second movie would come. I’m extremely happy that Venom is now canon in the MCU, so I really hope they continue on because I’d love to see Venom and Eddie interacting with other marvel characters like Spider-Man. All in all, great movie.

Okay compared to the other resident evil movies, this wasn’t too bad. The things I liked: - this may just be me, but I loved the burger/truck scene at the beginning 😂 it wasn’t the very start of the movie but it did pay homage to the start of the game. - I loved the casting for Claire and Chris, though I do feel Chris(Robbie Amell) could’ve been… a little more macho vibey - I also really likes some of the shots that made it feel like the game angles and camera work - the casting for William Burken was also on point 👌👌 The things that I didn’t like as much: - the casting for Leon…. I understand diversity and changing up characters to include other people. But In complete honesty I wanted a white guy with light brown hair that swept a little too much in front of his face. I feel like Avan Jogia could’ve been perfect for the role of Carlos in Resident Evil 3 if they continued. - I really wished they followed closer with the game story line. They did follow the plot kinda, but also not really. I was waiting for Leon to end up at the petrol station where he’d meet Claire 🤷‍♀️ - like most things, it could’ve done better as a tv show considering how much is included in Resident Evil 2. But they really did just skip over a lot of important parts and key aspects of the game - they really also should’ve spent more time in the police station as that was a vital location for the game - Leon trying to find help, find a way out, getting to different areas. - even though it’s a movie and not a game, it would’ve been really nice for them to include more even if it was small like Leon trying to open the lockers, trying to save then man trapped under the door, the helicopter coming through the police building, Mr X, finding more supplies when a fight was near. - I also don’t understand why Leon was such a rookie. Like he is a rookie yes, but he isn’t clueless 😐 - also it definitely shouldn’t have been so easy to take down William on the train.. Overall, I enjoyed the movie despite it missing things I was excited for. There are a lot of things they could’ve done better or changed, but it doesn’t change the fact that I did enjoy it and yelled at the screen when I recognised the scene. I really hope they do a second one and stay a little more truthful to the games and story. I understand faithful gamers may not have liked this movie, but I don’t like to be a harsh judge. For those that haven’t played the games, I would highly recommend because you will literally not know what’s missing from the games 😄 Overall, I had an enjoyable time watching it

I don’t even think I could write a review that does this film justice. The story, songs, characters are so moving and extremely realistic in showing what different people go through. My eyes definitely were not dry when I left the cinema. I have no clue why people hated on Ben Platt for playing Evan, because he did a fabulous job of portraying the character. He was so true to Evan and the things Evan experiences and how he deals with his anxiety and depression. Don’t get me started on the songs. Waving through a window, you will be found, words fail, requiem and all the rest are so beautiful. Some of the songs are more interesting to listen to, but every song had such beautiful words and meanings behind it that I didn’t care if it was an upbeat or catchy song. Every part of this movie resonated heavily with me and watching it really did make me feel as if people do notice the things that go on with people. Even if they don’t, then there is always someone to help you. Mental health is a serious thing and for some it is extremely evident while others not so much. This movie really shows that every goes through hardships, bad days, lows, negative feelings; but there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. The bad won’t go on forever, so just hold on a little longer. Xxxx 100000000/10

I think all the harsh comments and reviews are definitely coming from people who are hardcore fans of the original animated. I only watched a few random episodes of the kids tv show which might explain why my opinion is unbiased. I get what it’s like to be a fan of something and then to have a new adaption made and it turns out to be horrible - I’m a book worm after all, so it’s happened a lot. Personally I think this teen/adult adaptation of the Winx Club is great. Like I said, I don’t know the original plots, characters etc; so they definitely could’ve done something different or wrong and I wouldn’t know. However, I also believe that it gave me a clear mind when watching it. The actors are awesome and so is the setting, there are some actors that could be better but they could quite possibly be learning as they go. Lots of shows improve as they go. :D I liked that we got to see The Burned Ones and they didn’t try to withhold their appearance and I also like how Bloom wasn’t the only one with problems in her life; Sky, Stella, Musa. I also honestly didn’t know who was bad or good and who was lying or telling the truth. There are of course a few things like dialogue which was sometimes cringey, but let’s be real The Vampire Diaries definitely had cringey scenes and dialogue in the first few seasons. There also a little romance, but surprisingly it doesn’t take up a huge amount of screen time. I’m also not totally sure why there only seems to be 3 teachers at this school, but that’s probably something else entirely. (Budgets, idk) I just think people need to not be so judgy and especially so quickly. There are some cliches, but cliches are everywhere these days so get past it. Don’t get so caught up in what the show was years ago, times change. I think it’s a great show and I definitely want a season 2. (Also, the ending am I right?!? Crazy)

I actually really liked this movie, despite what the critics and reviews are saying. I thought it was going to be bad, with the whole marvel - xmen - thriller kinda vibe it had going on. The actors were all astounding, great job on their part and I loved seeing Maisie Williams in something new. :) The only thing I’d say that isn’t the greatest is that the plot takes about an hour to get going and for most of the movie I didn’t know what the plot was. All and all, the movie was great including the plot, characters and cinematography.

Personally I loved the movie. Just finished reading the first book which made me want to rewatch the movie and I think it’s great. The book is definitely a little slow and the flashback technique of writing is my favourite. Anyway this isn’t a review on the book, but the movie. In my opinion, the movie is actually really close to the book which is a bonus for the book enthusiasts. The movie itself was so entertaining. It had action, intense situations, emotional scenes and unlike the book, I actually cared about the scenes that didn’t involve Cassie. The only thing I’d change about it, is expand more on Evan and Cassies relationship. The movie deco skims over it very quickly, even though in the book they spend a few weeks together where they develop their connection. I think the 5th wave is a really good disaster, alien invasion movie. The main characters are teens, so I could just like the them more than most adults as I could relate to their ages. It also had a surprisingly good plot twist: SPOILER the aliens were using humans to kill other humans by making them think they were aliens. But personally it annoys me when people compare this movie AND series to others like The Hunger Games, Twilight, Maze Runner etc. It’s a great movie and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve rewatched it. 👏👏

Definitely not like other post apocalyptic movies and Dylan O'Brien's performance really just adds to it all! Firstly, the concept is a little different to most movies in this genre. Finally a movie that is about diseases or zombies etc, but mutant creatures; good and bad ones. Secondly, Dylan does an amazing job at keeping the mood humorous and light. Though he does an amazing job as well when scenes need to show more negative and dark emotions. The plot is quite simple, boy who feels alone leaves comfort to meet up with the person he loves. It's the journey that he takes and the people he meets that really makes it more entertaining than what that trope suggests. Not to mention that Joel (O'brien's character) doesn't even get the girl. xD Lastly, now this point is a huge win. But Joel finds a companion who actually stays with him for 90% of the film and DOESN'T die. xD The beautiful 'Boy' makes for a wonderful character. So I highly, highly recommend this movie. It's a light-hearted, funny movie that includes some deep moments and is suitable for the whole family. :D Also it's like watching a full length film with Stiles Stilinski.

Loved this movie! Acting is great and Adam Brody is amazing... xD In all seriousness, the movie held my attention for the entire time and I absolutely enjoyed watching it. The introduction kept me on edge as I followed the beginning story but took just the right about of time to then explain what was going on so I didn’t get confused or bored. No real jump scares, just a few weapons fired during silence - just to the point where you shudder at the sudden noise. It does have its gross moments, but nothing to bad( I’m not one for gross/gore movies and I found it fine). Doesn’t spend much time on gross elements as that’s not what the movie is about. Lastly it also incorporates some comedic elements, giving you time to have a laugh and relax slightly from the jarring scene you may have just watched. Samara Weaving definitely did a stunning job of portraying a strong willed, brave women who was put in a horrific game of hide & seek. For me being the person I am, I was definitely rooting for a happy ending. (That’s just the trope I like) But of course, that’s not how it ended and getting past that I will say that the ending was quite superb. Had a plot twist and finished with a very suitable ending for the plot line. 10/10 would see again

On the fence with this show. As a show on its own, no relation to TVD and TO, its pretty okay. Some characters are cool and others meh. Storyline is kind of average, but still interesting enough to keep me watching it. As a spin-off of TVD and TO, it’s pretty disappointing. Both of those shows were really good, though they both ended rather badly. Fortunately, The Originals had the same vibe and excellent/unforgettable actors like The Vampire Diaries. Legacies has turned out to be more of a juvenile, ‘new monster every episode’ tv series. Similar to Grimm, except more cringey. After watching season 2, I can definitely see potential with characters. Such as Thomas Doherty and Nick Fink. Thomas definitely has the same vibe as Damon and The Original vampires, which is a throwback to what it felt like to watch the first 2 tv series. Nick Fink’s acting is surprisingly good and I definitely enjoy watching him preform and his chemistry on screen with Danielle Rose Russell. Not too mention that TVD and TO both featured appearances from the well known characters/actors in both shows. Legacies only mentions the names, rarely actually featuring. Script is sometimes head slapping, though also sometimes very touching. I think one thing that definitely contributes overall is that the idea of a ‘teenager’ as changed. What we saw of Elena and Caroline while in school vs what Hope and Landon etc look like while in high school. I definitely think Legacies is a hit or miss for some people.

I watched the trailer and personally it feels a bit like a discount Hart of Dixie. I absolutely loved that show so I am a bit bias, but it definitely feels like a less entertaining and enthralling version of Hart of Dixie. I could definitely watch the show to get a better idea of it, especially because the trailer is only like 2-4 minutes. But being honest nothing struck me during the trailer so I have no interest in watching it.
