I could watch this film many times over, without tiring of it. Original, with brilliant cast and script. Absorbing, funny, heart-wrenching and never sentimental.

This is a totally absorbing account of a woman struggling to ensure that her little daughter has the secure life she never knew. It is never sentimenal. Not one of the characters is one-dimensional; they all have their good points and their failings. In other words, they are human.

Disappointing film. We should have felt more for the guy, Beckett, who happened to fall foul of corrupt police and embassy staff, but it just felt like a non-stop chase, bad guys out to get the unwitting witness of a kidnap victim.

So original: a story about a Down Syndrome lad, Zak, who escapes his care home and latches onto a stranger, Tyler, who is on the run after setting fire to a hostile fisherman's crab pots. An unlikely friendship develops with Tyler agreeing to help Zak achieve his obsessive ambition to be a wrestler, the Peanut Butter Falcon. The nurse from the care home, sent to track him down, becomes part of the escapade and she and Tyler fall for each other. So..... adventure, shocks, chases, love and ultimately triumph.
