The order you should follow is: 1st watch Steins gate, 2nd watch the Steins gate movie, next the alt ep 23 of Steins gate and lastly (yes make sure you watch this at last) Steins gate 0. Now many people's opinion is Steins gate 0 isn't good like Steins gate. Don't listen to them - the fact is they didn't understand the story of Steins gate 0 or Don't know the reason why Steins gate 0 is the damn important part of Steins gate main series. Listen carefully, *Steins gate 0* is the plot where the anime shows you why the last episode of Steins gate (main series) was possible. So Steins gate 0 is just the explanation of the Steins gate ending- most of people don't understand that even after watching Steins gate 0.Also many of them don't understand why Steins gate movie is the part of main series too. There is a loop in the movie that was carried on the whole Steins gate & Steins gate 0. But it's a loop - and you can understand if you watch consciously. And after finishing the last episode of Steins gate 0 cautiously, you will definitely get how much intelligent the mc of Steins gate is! Also let me compare this with some prominent anime too.
