I am happy that I stumbled onto Aamir Khan's Instagram live show where he spoke about the film. Watched the film with my wife and 26 year old son who grudgingly came along . We were all equally entertained - not a single dull moment, stellar award winning acting from the newbies (every emotion was so real by Phool, Deepak and Jaya and supported by more than a award winning performance by Ravi Kishen. Kiran Rao take a bow - superb direction - will want to watch it again - awaiting a sequel to this show - 2 saal baad - Ladies ka Pataa 😀

A movie that began well and then the typical run of the mill script began, the script is good , the story line is good. Now one asks then why the 2 stars, that's because direction was aimed for the dinosaurs which are the 70 plus aged citizens who would still laugh at the ice age jokes. What a criminal waste of excellent talent like Abhishek and Pankaj Tripathi . Someone please take this director and place him in an college and a office cafeteria for a few months to understand the psyche of what the bloomers love.

A Good plot rendered pointless by overacting and the moral of the story is completely lost. The main lead is shown as 75 years old, so then why did Amitabh not act his age, which coincidentally is also 75. Why the need for soda bottle lenses and crooked body posture. A sad waste of our time and a collosal waste of a legends resources. A most important point is we had to turn up the volume so high just to be able to hear the dialogues, thanks to loud background music - a common trait movies, TV shows and Netflix series made by directors of a bygone era. What is the point of watching if you cannot hear what is being said.
