Ok, actors throughout the movie make comments about understanding time travel and go to great lengths to explain the process in detail (or to be more accurate to this movies definition"backwards entropy"). Yet, as they are explaining they are constantly reminding the audience the it is okay if you don't understand it. But it is not okay at all. The movie is action packed, but I had a hard time understanding why the action was happening at all. I am unsure if the theater was playing the background to loud or if Nolan decided to turn it up post-production because the script didn't make much sense.Either way, it was hard to get a grasp on the objectives the protagonist was trying to work through to resolve the overarching problem of the movie, not to mention the whole "time doesn't really exist at all, but things can go backwards just because they can" concept. Overall it seemed disjointed, and overcomplicated. Clinche` lines seemed to be added to make certain actors look cool, but didn't add to the script or elevate the movie. I would say don't waste your time, but the money says that time doesn't exist, so I will just say don't waste your money. Hopefully, money still exists in an alternative world where Christopher Nolan has finally given up the notion to writing reality bending movies about time travel.
