I love the show, the format, the women who host it: especially, Loni and Jeannie. I returned to the US last year to stay with my Mum, who suffered a stroke. She introduced me to The Real because she watches The Real EVERYDAY!!! I have lived outside the US for over 45 years and to watch The Real is refreshing in American talk shows. I do, however, have a question for the ladies. My Mum has a book that reads Obama wasn't America's first black president. Can the women research this and bring it as a topic in their show to educate since this is Black History month? The book is very interesting and dispels the myth that American never before had a black president. The only reason the public thought they were all white or Caucasian is because back then they all wore wigs, especially for portraits, and with a wig all light skinned individuals can appear to be 'white'. This would be a great learning piece when researched and properly discussed. I hope your staff will at least consider the challenge. I wish you all the best and hope your show runs for many years to come!!! You're all doing a terrific job!!! You not only educate me but you bring me to tears, actual tears, with the good things you are doing and the love you are sharing. May you all be blessed from this day forth.

I love The Steve Harvey Show!!! I think Steve is an angel covered in the human form and I pray he and his family are safe and can enjoy his success for years to come. I lived outside the US for over 40 years because of the black/white issues in this country. My mother suffered a stoke, which sadly brought me back to these shores. My Mum watches Steve Harvey religiously, in whatever he participates in, and there is only one other show that I watch every day and that is The Real. What Steve and these women are doing for the community as a whole is fantastic!! I have a request for the Steve Harvey staff: My Mum has a book that reads Obama wasn't the first black president of America. If this is true, since this is Black History month can someone on the Steve Harvey staff research this for a topic of discussion on his show? Back then whenever they took photos and as a daily part of dress everyone wore wigs. This changes the appearance and if a light skinned person adorned a wig, for sure they would appear to be another race other than black. Having said that perhaps it would be worth the time to investigate whether or not Obama was our first black president. Today so many hidden stories regarding blacks are being uncovered, is it possible to uncover this one?
