I found this book engaging and well written. The story itself is amazing, but coupled with Woo's artful detail, It took the reader on the journey of intrigue. Recommended reading if you enjoy Black history.

I enjoyed watching this film as it gave a very realistic and touching depiction of what accepting Jesus means to people who have other beliefs and customs. Here in America we don't see it to this degree, but in other countries, it can mean death.
