I'm only at my third chapter in and my heart is screaming out in tears bc I have always believed in my mother's belief in me, but not so much my belief in myself! To know that Tasha didn't see herself for who she really was resonates with me sooo much! Another plus, Tasha narrates her own book, and she sings y'all in the audio version... What a treat! I knew when I saw her on Dear Future Wifey that this book was going to be interesting, bc I found her to be interesting in that interview! Tbh, I love her music and I knew she could sing, but I didn't gravitate towards her until I saw another reason to and that reason is the kindred-ness of the Holy Spirit that flows through her personality! I once heard TD Jakes say, you want me to follow you? Why should I follow you? Give me a reason. Well, I can now say I have more of a reason to follow Tasha Cobbs Leonard! I'm excited to get through this book, but first, I'm going to replay Chapter 3! ❤️ Thank you for encouraging me to do it anyway, Tasha!

I loved the movie and will watch it again! Many negative comments people are leaving are highly due to their sense of self-entitlement in thinking a character they love must be White on-screen; they don't appreciate the main role and Queen's role being played by Black actresses, but I appreciated the diversity the movie exemplified! It was a great love story and in the theatre I attended, everyone clapped and cheered in the end! But then again, I'm from Miami where diversity is highly appreciated!

I liked it! It was suspenseful and pointed out how sometimes when you truly want to serve Justice, it can cost you your life! It also pointed out how trouble can just disrupt your life and although you may want to mind your own business, sometimes you gotta get involved to make a difference. The movie keeps your attention and the social Injustices and hood scenes were exaggerated to express the greater point that these areas and lifestyles still do exist in today's society.
