I want to write this as fast as possible so I don't keep dragging this review on, so I say this earnestly: Ratatouille doesn't have a complicated, twisted plot meant to impress the audience, and I don't think it needs one, either. It does not make you particularly cry or laugh, but a light smile played across my lips during the majority of the film. There's an obvious villain and hero hinted from the very start, but the creativity is there nonetheless. Ratatouille is simply one of those heartwarming, PG, happy-ending movies that families tend to watch together. In my opinion, satisfaction is a key point of watching a movie, and I was indubitably content with the entire storyline of Ratatouille. Overall, although I must admit I'm a rather harsh critic with movies, and I tend to only review more "complex" movies in the first place; I give Ratatouille five stars. This was a welcome back to reality that something does not have to be overly done or prepared to satisfy someone. Although, I add this as a side note: those who are not interested in simple plots and who are not easily satisfied with children's movies aren't the recommended audience for this film.

I consider myself to be a pretty logical and nonbiased critic when it comes to kdramas, which is why I felt the need to review Strong Girl Do Bong Soon; it was simply AMAZING. Strong Girl had the exact right amount of cringe/second-hand embarrassment, cute scenes, HILARIOUS scenes, scenes that made me feel proud of my gender (because Bong Soon is like the "homme fatale" of this kdrama), and just the right dose of RAGE it made me feel at times. A love triangle is featured among the two male leads and female lead, but you can also see a love pentagon as you keep watching. Now, I don't know about you, but I do love myself some heartwrenching, heartbreaking love triangle (/pentagon). I put off watching Strong Girl because of what I thought to be a confusing, and somewhat immature, plot, but by the first episode, I was sold. Strong Girl is nothing like what you might assume it to be. What I also found to be a positive side of this kdrama is that it's not just a rom-com, but a well-thought-out story that features a plot that transcends the typical genre of romance and comedy- yet doesn't make the entire plot too complex or complicated that you would lose track. I never thought the day would come that I would rate anything 5/5 stars, but there's always a first to things!
