Only allows one island per switch console that needs to be shared across all accounts. Any excuse made for this is just that; an excuse. At best this is a defective game. Much more likely is this is a preditory business practice designed to coerce families to buy multiple switches, nintendo accounts, and games to be able to fully enjoy this with a household.
