Just a meeh romance.
Rushed, forced and predictable.
The writers tried their all to make this relatable to gen z and dramatically failed. It was predictable because I knew exactly who was going to die just by them trying to make that character so loved by the viewers. That’s probably why I didn’t cry, but I also didn’t have enough time to establish a connection with that character because it was too rushed.
The only plus side of this movie is that the actor of Luke reminded me somewhat of Tobias from divergent.
In conclusion, this is one of those movies that you wouldn’t show your gay friends because they would have another reason to dislike straight romance.
