Excellent portrayal of the human aspect of the Battle of Midway. I can understand why some viewers might feel left behind. It presumes familiarity with the shape of the battle and its main events. For those who possess such basic knowledge it was wonderfully authentic - an intimate connection to an epic event normally viewable only from a distance.
