If you liked Layers of Fear. You might think, "wow I can't wait to play the second one". I'm here to tell you don't. It's Layers of Fear, with very little layers and it forget to add fear. The atmosphere felt so weak in comparison. I found myself growingly uninterested in the lore the game brings as I progressed. Unlike the first game, every time I learned something new I was intrigued. If you're desperate for a horror game, pick it up sale. Or just don't and replay the first one.
