The production of this movie coincided with my third reading of a Josephine Tey’s book, The Daughter of Time. Josephine Tey’s book also deals with the propaganda concerning the reputation of Richard the Third. I went on to rent , the Laurence Olivier, production of Richard, the Third, Shakespeare. I also rented the movie,The Lost King. Watched this movie twice. I thought the movie a pleasant romp with the touch of reality and fantasy. The reality includes lack of respect for the truth, women, older people, and people with disabilities. The fantasy that makes the movie special is the apparition of Richard the Third that haunts the movie.
