This movie is a boring unimportant contribution to society. I’ve never seen the original but it has to be better than this piece of utter garbage. It completely distorts the Perseus story into an uninspired badly executed piece of fiction. I could go on and on about the things I hate in this movie but there are some highlights. • Perseus is annoying to watch and I honestly wanted him to just die several times throughout the movie. • Perseus should have died several times throughout this movie. He’s a demi god but Io clearly states he’s not immortal! He should literally be dead several times over. • Another story where Hades is the villain just because. Hades wasn’t even a part of the original myth?? Bad trope. • The action scenes are poorly shot and you can hardly tell what’s happening half the time. • Perseus’s haircut is distracting. Why does he have a shaved head? Who shaved it? Everyone else has long hair! • The whole “the gods need the mortals prayers to feed their immortality” system. All of it. • We are given no reason to care about Andromeda. She could’ve been sacrificed and I wouldn’t have cared less. This movie would be so much better if they has an actual reason for me to care. • There just so happens to be an eclipse in ten days. Convient plot time limit is convenient. I could say more but I don’t want to think about this movie any longer than I have to.
