Been a fan of Star Wars since first seeing back in the late 70s as a very young lad. Loved the original trilogy, was happy to admit enjoying the prequels when they came out. Fairly enjoyed the sequels though I don’t rush to rewatch them. Mandolorian series 1 and 2 were good. Made effort to watch all animated stuff; Clone Wars, Bad Batch, enjoyed Rebels. But Ahsoka- the deep cuts in the ending of the finale, I just didn’t get. All this Father, Son, Daughter stuff, statues etc, I only learnt by reading various reviews and “explaining the ending “ posts. And realised- this just isn’t my Star Wars. Fair play to those growing up with this, lapping it all up, getting all these deep references etc, I won’t take that enjoyment away from you. However, I suddenly start feeling too old for Star Wars- same feeling I had after watching The Last Jedi. This stuff doesn’t seem my Galaxy far far away.
