The movie is a stand alone movie that represents the Chinese folklore of Mulan. I had high expectations and it did met mine. This movie is for those who appreciates Great Cinematography. Mushu and cricket aren't in this movie but Mulan's soul searching scenes and the phoenix kinda made it up for me. As for the singing there aren't but the instrumental and the ending credits songs are good in my opinion especially Christina Aguilera's Loyal Brave and True which is now stuck on my mind! The leading actress and her acting was superb although some scene felt rush in my opinion. Not gonna kinda cried during the ending credits I dunno it just hit my emotions. Will watch again too bad there's a virus going around. If there wasn't this would make the experience better because this movie would be better if you watched it in the cinemas. Also I got kinda emotional during the instrumental of Reflection

Overall a 5 star for me the writer of this drama has outdone her self yet again. She also wrote the Great and Lonely God which made my standards high for this drama. Let me tell you it met my expectations as my family and I would watch this series every night and watch atleast 3 episodes because we want to savour each and every moment. This is a drama wherein it requires you to think of theories which excites me. Cast is superb the two leading actors was a great bonus for me. Woo Do Hwan is the one which I feel outdid himself due to the fact that you could really feel the distinction between the two personalities. Shows that he is a very versatile actor. I'm really proud to say that Woo Do Hwan is finally getting attention as he is really talented. Every time Lee Min Ho and Kim Go Eun cry or if they have a sentimental moment I would just cry and feel their feelings as this drama was truly the a great work of art! Alongside the funny product placements!
