Overall the book is pretty good, and I much prefer Edward's perspective over Bella's, since I can vaguely remember when I first read the books she pissed me off more than once. One of my complaints with this book however, is how repetitive Edward is when it comes to his thoughts, because practically every other line in the book he thinks "I'm such a monster, I'm so dangerous" and "Bella's so weak, I guess it's up to me to be her guardian vampire." Like yes, we get it. Also doesn't anyone else think it's strange how Edward openly admits to watching Bella sleep practically every night, and she just accepts it? I'm pretty sure anyone would at least be a LITTLE disgusted and frightened after hearing that, whether they loved the person or not. Other than that, this is the type of book that I'll read once and forget about until a few years later, where I'll read it again out of boredom.
