This is awesome for me as I was their age in the 90’s. That 70’s show was awesome too and the two can’t be compared in any way except they are both really good. People may not remember but they tried after that 70’s Show finished they tried that 80’s show which I don’t believe made it past the pilot episode. It was horrible a terrible rendition of a decade that doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. With that said the thing that keeps this show grounded is the return of Red and Kitty foremen. And I like that they deal with social issues that a lot of teens suffered silently about being homosexual, transgender, bisexual, straight it deals with this and has a gay cast member which shows how far we have come. Not far enough yet though. I like that it wasn’t the same characters and that the main character is female. The diversity I was referring to. It wasn’t easy for women to get main character roles in anything at one point so I’m glad it’s a girl. And the cameos that the cast of that 70’s show make an appearance once in a while to remind us that yes this is connected to that show but they don’t do it to the point where you don’t know what one you’re watching. I like it better. Because it’s not network television the jokes are better and Red is his best yet. Amazing after all these years they can just jump back into these characters that they haven’t played in 20 years. Worth watching for sure!
