It's definitely a Dad movie, yet I stayed more engaged and was awake till the end compared with my Dad who slept halfway. It was suspenseful and intelligent, it kept me entertained. It's almost like a battle of wits and odds between Tom Hanks and the Krauts. And Tom Hank's expression is like that leader who is so intelligent yet so humble. So much Navy jargon I wished I went to Navy school because I couldn't understand half of the navigation script there, plus so annoying US's standard unit for distance is miles than kilometers. The only reason why i gave only 4 stars is that the plot, overall, is hanging. I felt like I watched the first season and there should be more seasons to watch, or another 0.5 hours of ultimate boss level action. Anyway, love Tom Hanks. Watch the movie and prepare for subtitles if English is not your first language.

Favorite zombie movie!! I don't understand why people hated this, they must not liked American movies altogether. It's smart and action-packed. I really hate it when zombie films have hanging endings. This one actually has a plausible solution to end the pandemic. I felt very immersed to BPs role the whole time. Also, best kind of zombies ever!! I'd love to be casted as a zombie for that film if I were given a chance to be a part of it.

Animation - 10/10 Music -8/10 Intro- 10/10 Climax -10/10 Ending - 3/10 Not a very detailed review but there will be some spoilers. I mostly agree with the other reviews who gave 3 stars out of 5. Good story build up but flawed character developmeny and ending. I, personally, felt uncomfortable at Muge's fantasies and behavior towards her crush but their teenagers so I guess that can't be helped. Still, a bit unhealthy. I didn't like that they fell in love in the end, I could've felt more comfortable if they became friends or what. There is significant moral development that each main character are struggling to achieve and to rely on "love" for it to happen would be just sloppy, artificial and Disney-like. If I were Hinode, I don't think I'd fall in love with Muge... I would largely appreciate her though and maybe be her best friend. If I were Muge, I would wake up from my stupid obsession for Hinode and realize that there is so much more to live in life and love my friends (i.e. Yori chan) and my family. It's so annoying that she's only considering her life to be worthy if Hinode would just love her. How desperate is that? Open-ending conflicts are still there such as the fight between mom and stepmom, and what was that with the Hinode's sister and her engaged boyfriend? Like why throw that out in the end without prior context? Confusing. I have cats myself so I want to visit cat island if there was such thing. I love cats and that's the reason I watched this. I wish my cats love me just like how Kinako loves her owner.

Awesome film. There were many cookie crumbs left to mystery. Can't wait to watch the sequel.
