I have no idea how this even got into production when it was clear it was so poorly written. It had some good ideas none of which were executed.

Absolutely drivel. Pallid acting to say the least. Wishy washy. Tom Hiddleston played Tom Hiddleston and Claire Danes spent most of the time nodding her head at various angles wearing a desperate look and orange hair which wouldn't have been possible in the century the film was placed in.

The film just went nowhere

My advice don't bother. Naff story line and actors given lousy narrative. Gave up after first episode.
