Interesting that the vast majority of these reviews, and pretty much all the negative ones, are from women. I thought the Anna Barton character was stunning, loved her haircut, and she did an excellent job of selling the role. I disagree that the two leads lacked chemistry, Anna was excellent, and I can absolutely assure you that the old cliche of two people locking eyes across a crowded room does happen. Her controlling William as depicted in the first sex scene on the apartment floor was very well done, and the whole scene having only one single word of dialogue was a master-stroke. Sure the whole thing got the speed wobbles by the beginning of episode 4, but overall I rate the whole show highly.
