Only halfway through, but it should be obviously stated that this story is BASED on a true story. There is so much dialogue in it, sentences, syntax, words, in a sequence it would be impossible for anyone to remember without a recording device. I’m much enjoying it, though I do think the author paints a mighty flattering picture of himself, and considering the aforementioned presence of quotes throughout, I’m keeping an open mind so to speak, as to the concreteness of every line and event as it’s told. A fun adventure story and look at being an outcasted traveler learning his way into living amongst a culture different from his own.
