Definition of boring? Beyond the black rainbow. Obviously the writer and director think they are following in the footsteps of Stanly Kubrick and Arthur C Clark. The film is representative of a trip on acid, but lacks the intelligence of a quality production like 2001 or a painting by Dali. After 30 minutes I had to change the channel. A true pity because I was hoping to find it intriguing and thought enhancing, but instead it is flavored by poor scripting and bad lighting, as well as a dull finish which leaves one wondering why... Why make a movie which lacks a thread of conscious intelligence?
